    Hi Andrew,

I would like to ask you a question. I ordered samples from China, using Alibaba website. Is it save to post using Chinese post?

Also I would like to open an eBay store, but at this time i have just 15 feedback. Is there any way to do this now? I know in  eBay.com it is possible to get verified, by paying 5 dollars fee and putting id picture on eBay profile. Maybe you have any suggestions how to open eBay store in my situation, thanks!

    Andrius

    Hi Andrius,

    Thanks for your e-mail.

There are two options if we talk about Chinese post:

    * EMS – this is Chinese courier service and offers quick delivery from China to anywhere in the World. Delivery usually takes 4-6 business days. It comes with a tracking number and packages in UK, for example, are delivered by Parcel Force (once shipment enters UK, you can trace it online via Parcel Force website).

    * China Post Airmail – this is standard mail service in China. While officially packages to Europe should be delivered in 7-14 days, from my experience it’s more like 20-30 business days. So it’s slow, you can’t trace it and lost packages are not uncommon. Fine for small, sample shipments if you can wait and don’t worry if package gets lost during transit.

In the past, I used EMS a lot for imports from China but lately, TNT has provided me even better prices.

As for opening an eBay shop - you already can do this! To open a Basic Shop on eBay.co.uk, you only need 10 feedbacks and verified PayPal account:

    Hope this helps! :-)

    Thanks,
