I should say that I have tried a couple of them and none worked.

Can you please give me an a good niche example product that will sell.

Thanks for your question.

You shouldn’t simply “try”, that’s a waste of your time & money! Get a Terapeak.com subscription and do a proper research. You can find hot products via special “Hot Products” feature or by browsing through categories for example (red icon means it’s a HOT category).

Alternative way to find profitable products on eBay is to simply research individual products/niches. The most important indicator you should be looking at is Sell Through Rate. If it’s above 50%, put that product on the list for further research.

If a sell through rate for a product is 75%+ and market volume is good (at least few grand), you have found a HOT item and should immediately look what’s going on in that niche on eBay and whatever you can compete with current sellers.

If you haven’t done that already, take a look @ eBay Pulse – it shows you most popular items in each category. Very handy and accurate research tool as data comes directly from eBay (no numbers there though).

Finally, another great way to find items in high demand is to look for Top Lists, you know, ones magazines and websites are publishing each year. These lists will give you a pretty good idea on what will sell well on eBay this Christmas. This tactic works extremely accurate in Toys market.
