    Hi Andrew!

I’m looking for wholesale deals on Monster Beats by Dr. Dre. headphones without much luck so far…

I have been on and but I don’t trust them and don’t want to pay via Western Union. Prices look very good though so maybe I should risk and take a plunge?

Monster Beats by Dr. Dre. headphones are hot sellers on eBay at the moment and I thought it would be nice to make some extra cash during the pre-Xmas shopping boom!

    Any advice highly appreciated!

    Peter, UK

    Hi Peter,

    Thanks for your question.

I’m glad you contacted me before making any stupid mistakes!

The thing is – you CAN’T get genuine Monster Beats by Dr. Dre. headphones in wholesale from Mainland China, period! If you get lucky, you’ll receive FAKES (counterfeit copies of Monster Beats by Dr. Dre.) or nothing at all if a scammer scams you.

Sites like are FULL of famous brand Fakes, yes – even in electronics market. Chinese can make such high quality replicas that it’s really difficult to tell the difference from original products. But that’s only the look of the product – quality of sound with Chinese, fake headphones will be dreadful compared to original Monster Beats by Dr. Dre. products.

Yes, you can get genuine Monster Beats by Dr. Dre. headphones and other branded electronics from Honk Kong based suppliers but again, please be very careful as the fact that supplier is HK based, doesn’t guarantee anything! There are plenty of sellers selling FAKES even there!

So in a nutshell - STAY AWAY from Chinese suppliers offering you ANY branded products, especially Monster Beats by Dr. Dre. Headphones!

Sites like Alibaba and DhGate are only good for un-branded products.

If you’re looking for GENUINE Monster Beats by Dr. Dre. products, take a look @ my EAB website here.

    Hi Andrew

Who would you suggest for Monster Beats headphones at wholesale?

    Stewart UK

  2. Hi Stewart,

Unless you have HUGE buying power, you won’t be able to get these in true wholesale.

Your best option would be to look for a US based online shops, special promotions, liquidation stock, returns etc.

where do you think monster has the products made?? they have them shipped from china and sell in the u.s. i have recieved them from chinese companies and they are real. not everything from china is fake

  4. Hi Bran,

yes, most of the stuff is being made in China these days BUT that doesn’t mean you can get it form there!!! All factories where brand products are being manufactured are closely guarded/secured – so there are no stock leaks.

If you purchased Monster Beats by Dr. Dre. from China, they were 100% FAKES, maybe you dind’t spot that as some copies are made so good!

Ok Sure Andrew %90 of everything you have in North America in made in China do your research. I have a pair of Beats that i bought of some website and my friend has a pair he bought from Best Buy. I payed $120 canadian and he payed $290 canadian, the sound is exactly the same just the the packaging on the inside may be very slighty different very slightly. The wires are the same quality all that matters is that they deliver good quality sound. I laughed at my friend because he didnt belive I could get them now he gonna return his and get the ones I have.
You do have one good point though Andrew Dhgate and allibaba are a bunch of scammers dont take the plunge with those guys. but i do suggest you just look harder and do more research.

  6. Hi Daniel,

Let me know that Chinese website you can get GENUINE wholesale Monster Beats by Dr. Dre. headphones – really! I would like to see that! :-)

    Hi Daniel,
Please lets know the website so we can check it out

  8. #8 Daniel says:
    03/04/2011 at 20:48

Umm yea, you see thats the thing guys, I use this website to make money off these items so it would be really stupid for me to give away my supplier. Just search the web and you will find a good supplier. Or you can check out my facebook under Attire Nshoes ;)

  9. #9 Daniel says:
    03/04/2011 at 21:05

And heres another point I would like to post. Everything is real there obviousy not toys. It’s just that some items are made for the retail stores and some are being made for the people that have these websites. I love this business and im not concerned about the big companies crying about there profit losses because the way i see it everyone has to eat.

  10. #10 Joey says:
    03/05/2011 at 00:43

A friend of mine got 10 or so of those fakes from a chinese site, they might not be the real thing, but DANG, they are high quality copies. I would never buy directly from a site like that, but I’m very tempted to buy some from him after I’ve made sure they work. The ones he showed me today were just a little bit lower quality if not the same as those that are 150$+ a pair from monster, or the high quality ones bose makes. He got them for like 15 a pair (in-ear ones) and they’re way better than any skullcandy ones or something at a similar price.

  11. #11 Daniel says:
    03/10/2011 at 00:12

Yes Joey your on the right mind set :)

  12. Ohh, really?

Do you know that importing and re-selling FAKES is highly illegal and can get you in real trouble???

First thing that can happen is customs will hold the shipment and destroy goods.

If you’re doing this on a serious level, real jail time + huge fine is a reality!

So think again about this strategy! :-)

  13. #13 Mr Jitsu says:
    03/12/2011 at 16:01

Hey Daniel, can I get the name of your supplier? Im not gonna take any of your business away dont worry, Im in london.

  14. well your right its seems everyone is either selling or buying fake products but thats cause they over charge for the real ones come on coach bags for $200 and fakes $33 , jordans for $150 fakes for $60 and all the china suppliers sell ed hardy for really cheap . so your right its not worth it to waste your time to find a fake and get an scam handed to you time and time again with all the money you loose you could of just as well bought the real thing. I did see some real one for sale really cheap but its not worth buying sometimes if its too good of a price there is a reason for it being sold so cheap. I will stick with items like southpole and roca wear that i can buy in the states and afford. for the hardy this and monkey that i am happy some clothes are worth paying for at the neareast mall and look good with good quality fabric. so stay away from the online cheap from abroad sales its not worth it and who knows what you will get when you open that package. so shop til you drop but dont drop all your money online without going to the mall first try it you will find something.

  15. and this comment is to DANIEL your right we all have to eat. I am not going to say who is right or wrong but i think if a man or women in china can make the same products and sell them for almost half the price and they look and perform just as well . then my only question is WTF. how can anyone get mad at that. here you have someone around the other side of the globe who can get the items most wanted by the public feedback and ship it free in some cases. that makes me wonder why it cost some much here in the states plus all the extras. i just can not see how anyone can get mad at that . come on i want a pair of headphones that are selling for $200+ here in the states and now i see the same ones in so many different colors for under half that . come on 2 pair no shipping cost and i still got $100 left over i am no fool an thats why so many are are online right now buying them. maybe the makers of these products need to make some adjustments . DONT HATE THE HUSTLER HATE THE HUSTLE LOL

  16. Andrew just what is it with you and buying items from china . i read where you said most of the stuff is being made in China these days BUT that doesn’t mean you can get it from there! And that factories where brand products are being manufactured are closely guarded and secured – so there are no stock leaks.and to say to this guy if he purchased Monster Beats by Dr. Dre. from China, they were 100% FAKES. that may be true . but who knows . I just want to ask you why is it okay to pay almost nothing to have them made for slave pay and sell but it not okay for someone else to do the same i dont feel any pity for the ones who have products made anywhere for cheap and get mad if someone thinks of a better way to make more money. sweat shops are all the same the only difference i see is someone was smarter than the original scammers and made a few $$$$$$$$$$ I SAY GOOD FOR THEM.

  17. Hmm, let me see – because it’s ILLEGAL?

You think it’s ok to steal someone else’s product, copy and sell it off cheaper without investing a dime in R&D or marketing? And using other companies name? Ruining their reputation by selling low quality goods in market under name they don’t own?

I think you’re misunderstanding the situation here and what I’m referring to – I’m not talking about similar, or un-branded products. I’m talking about Chinese, low quality COPIES/Replicas of branded goods. It’s a crime and I will never support it.

  18. #18 Daniel says:
    03/14/2011 at 11:03

OK Andrew wake up! do you know any thing about the husting game?. People been doing this for years and I laugh at people that buy the product from the stores. You say its illigal I say its a great way to make $$$. I have been husling since I was 16, not exactly selling beats but hustling anything that I know the general public will like. My question to you, have you ever hustled before Andrew??. Or were you born with everything infront of you? Know the grind and stop hating sunn ;).

  19. #19 Daniel says:
    03/14/2011 at 11:13

And another thing you should think about Andrew is that these big coorporations are producing so much of these items that after a while it cost almost nothing to make them. I know about alot production and it seems like you dont Andrew. Im sorry Andrew, but if your going to make a comment page about this product know what your talking about. Are these companies paying you to have there back if not its pointless to me what your trying to express on this page.

  20. Daniel,

It’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it. Period. If you’re happy with selling FAKE goods, go for it! Just don’t forget to tell your customers what they’re buying before they hand money over to you.

I do business in a different way and I’m entitled to it too.

Really, can’t see – what’s your problem here?

  22. #22 Daniel says:

Sorry Mr Jitsu, but if I were to give you my supplier it would be like Best Buy or Target giving up there wholesale supplier and I Workred to hard to find a good supplier to just give it up. Sorry man.

  23. #23 Daniel says:
    03/14/2011 at 16:09

Andrew dont try to down grade my business I dont sell fake products at all period. Learn about the hustling game before you talk.

  24. Daniel,

You have some serious attitude problem – I’m trying to help people here avoiding Chinese fakes but you keep pushing your thing.

Open your blog and talk about your “hustling game” all day long.

  25. yea i got a friend who got his from china. i compared them to the real ones, and they sounded the exact same. I’m a music producer so i would know. they also looked the same. couldn’t tell any difference. plus monsters is always updating there product so, if the box is smaller they could be outdated earphones not so much fake. Outdated Updated, Same quality.

  26. Anthony,

They could be originals imported from Honk Kong and not Mainland China.

You can get genuine, wholesale branded Monster Beats by Dr. Dre. headphones from HK – but not from China Mainland. Still, you have to be very careful with suppliers as most will sell fakes anyway, even if they’re HK based.

Some of you guys need to grow up and stop being disrespectful to Andrew. Constantly talkign about ‘hustling’, no one is imressed. He was simply stating a FACT that importing and selling fake goods is illegal and can get you jailed. Learn to take good advice, it’s an important life tool.

  29. Chong Lee: The fact that product is manufactured in China doesn’t mean it’s fake. Most goods these days are manufactured in China. BUT that doesn’t mean you can get them in wholesale, directly from China.

Leon: Thanks for your support! (I thought I’m the only one using common sense here, lol)

Oh and Daniel, your tight lipped strategy isnt going to work because monster has made a list of all the websites that sell copies, next time rethink your strategy you greedy bastard.

Ha, I don’t see anything wrong with buying lower priced products but i would never over pay for something that isn’t genuine just because it looks authentic. Do your homework before buying something you want; if you cant afford it you might not need it. Don’t settle for knockoffs (life long lesson). (:

I bought a pair of Dr Dre Studio headphones from for $196 and thought I was getting such a great deal. After 6 months they were completely dead. Call Monster to get them replaced under warranty and found out they were actually fakes!! I got no response from the website after repeated emails, and also no response from the parent website, The credit card company would not help so I am just stuck for $200. Be very wary of buying anything from China – there is no recourse for bad merchandise!!

    Hi ANDREW,

I have to disagree with your long comment in regards to the sound of the fake BEATS STUDIO, i have 1 original set and 1 fake…. and there is no Sound difference at all, or you do not own any beats or you never tested both sets (Genuine and Fake), i felt like i was cheated, but to be clear not buy the counterfeit beats studios but by the original beats as they are 3-4X more expensive and are at the level of the counterfeits.

I would appreciate if you would base yourself on facts when commenting on such personal opinion.

HA. Danielson, you are so clueless. If you slip in your “business” at all (and trust me, you will sooner or later), the government can track your IP Adress with ease and hold you accountable for all your illegal reselling of products, or as an immature person would say… “hustling”

To everyone who is arguing about the “realness” of the Beats, Andrew already said multiple times that there are SOME out there that get their hands on or steal real Beats By Dre.. so if you get some, you’re most likely buying them illegally also.

Andrew, you are a very smart man and have answers to lots of various questions. Hats off to you for keeping us updated with help.

we can’t judge all item are made in china is fake, thats is only what different where the product produce by which country,we know that dr dre the original product is come from where, but who know if they got factory at china?which mean also fake product?i think thats is material, quality and cost problem, also mean OEM product

  44. You can sell un-branded headphones and even look-a-likes as long as there are no Beats by Dr. Dre. logos found anywhere on the products or packaging. But be prepared that not many people will want to buy them.

  45. Why buy Beats anyway? I’d go for a pair of quality Sennheiser cans. China really is a disgrace – they make so much junk why don’t people realise that they are being sold rubbish?

  46. #46 Henri says:
    12/01/2011 at 05:38

I bought a pair that are the same as a friend of me owns, I exchanged them without him knowing it for 3 weeks… then I told him and took the fake ones back.

Some copies are actually not copies but made by the same OEM in sometimes the same factory, we call that “the grey shift”, it happens a lot.

Of course there are hundreds of copies out that are shitty imitations, but there are also copies out that are 100% identical, after all can buy the electronic components to make that set free of the market

  47. #47 arthur says:
    12/06/2011 at 05:10

I dont understand why you are so concerned about the fact of distributing fake dr dres.

Yes, it is illegal to steal and make profit of intellectual property but I would be more concerned about the fact that China is using child labour and poor working conditions to manufacture REAL AND FAKE dr dres.

personally, i would rather send my money directly over to support small chinese companies than to encourage massive companies like monster to keep making their products in china then overpricing it here.

yes it is illegal to make replicas, but its probably more benificial to buy from them. Either way, the working conditions in china won’t change. :(

  48. #48 Alex Lopez says:

does anyone knows if this website sells original products

  49. #49 Nik says:
    12/22/2011 at 01:54

The thing is – while the real product is no doubt grossly overpriced – $300, come on! – the fakes are still fakes. They will sound worse. Anyone telling you different is a snake oil salesman (hi, Daniel!). Nothing wrong with purchasing snake oil, just know what you’re getting. The problem is the fakes are just as overpriced for what you’re getting.

Those people making money off the Chinese knock-offs will always tell you “hey it’s just the same”. In reality, of course it isn’t. Not because these items couldn’t be made much cheaper but because the fake product producers have absolutely no reason to make their product better – the only reason they sell is because people think they’re buying the real product, so after one is sold they don’t give a damn. They have no reason to build a reputation or aim for repeat sales – no reason at all.

Those foreign companies producing in China have serious quality controls in place and make extremely high quality goods. But why would a maker of fakes go through the trouble? There is no reason. So they don’t.

It’s the same whether you buy a fake North Face shirt, fake TEVA sandals, cheap ass handlebars for your motorbike…(*) – they look the same but they’re crap quality. They won’t last a year. If you want to buy cheap chinese products, at least go for those that have no brand or their own brand – for example Meelec makes really good in-ear headphones for something like $20. The sound compares to $100 brand name ones. If you get a fake brand name you’re always buying the worst of both worlds… high prices (for the product) and crap quality.

You will always overpay for that fake Beats logo vs. a genuine no name Chinese product.

(*) I own all of these items. Or did, before they broke.

  50. #50 Nik says:
    12/22/2011 at 02:00

@Alex: Why not stick with the major websites. Amazon, Apple online store, etc. You can be sure they sell original Beats. The market is flooded with fakes so buyer beware.

I’ve actually tested fake Beats – I didn’t know there were fakes and went to a big mall in Bangkok – surprise, Beats by Dr Dre where *everywhere*. I got suspicious because they were literally sold in all colors and shapes, and I was like… really? They have that many colors? I test-listened to some of them and wasn’t impressed. They sounded worse than my in ear headphones.

  52. #52 Georgia says:

Anything you buy straight in from china is a fake. You really think the big companies like dres beats who own the companies that make them are going to give them out wholesale. If you do then your are majorly stupid. Beats by dre are the only company who wholesale them out and that is only too large well known companies. If you are buying these in for anything less than cost price then they are fake and what you are doing is highly illegal. And also very unfair on customers if you are not letting them know they are replicas. Fair enough if you want to continue in on this but do be careful you can be done very quickly

  53. Here’s that company on Alibaba:

But I highly doubt they are selling genuine Beats!

    Just stumbled across this thread….

Ive recently just drop shipped 30 sets of beats from ‘another differnt’ wholesaler in 4 small mixed batches and the quality has varied from poor, through to outstanding.

I also have experienced honest and dishonest sellers…items missing etc but all in all if you look and do your reserch youll be ok

end of the day, Monster probably pay some chinese cnc factory to legitimately produce these headphones….if mr x from the black market offers 5x that amount or whatever whats to say the plans arent going to go wandering ?

There is a definate clear distinction between the good and bad models though…..the best of the best I have seen are so good I cant believe they arent legitimate which makes me think they are real but produced out of contract (hence no seriels/warrenty)

but then others are blatant bad copies…..

But one of them sent me a few beats by dr dre headphones which sound / look exactly the same like the real ones, I can tell because I HAVE the real ones. And I feel like a retard because I’ve bought them, if any one of you are interested in knowing the seller’s name I’ll be glad to tell you tho not here because I think he can get copyrighted, anyway message me to my email and don’t get scammed on alibaba that’s my tip, it’s a bad site.

  59. Sorry to disappoint, but while shopping on Amazon for dr. dre beats and I was re-directed to another website as Amazon often does. I ordered a pair of dr. dre studios and to my surprise it turned out to be a website in China. I placed my order and thought I would never see the headphones, let alone in time for xmas! Friday before xmas the package arrived with a return address label from China. These beats were real!! We have compared them to ones from Best Buy and even the packaging was the same! $165 is all I paid. As far as I am concerned I scored!!!!

If you cannot make money supporting US companies then you are part of the problem with our economy and not part of the solution.
My business uses US programmers to sell to US customers. BOOYAH. Learn people. We hustle, play the game and do it the right way. And I sleep well at night knowing my children can grow to be proud of how we did it.

  61. Maybe they came from Kong Kong?

As you can get genuine Beats by Dr. Dre from Hong Kong. Mainland China is the place to avoid.

Also, visually, it’s actually not that easy to spot a fake as packaging and outer design will be almost same as with original item.

welldone for sticking to your guns. I can’t believe how naive these guys are! You are spot on, if almost any branded product is bought from China odds are it will be fake. It’s sad that copyright infringements aren’t enforced in china and the Goverment over there won’t take any action to stop these cowboys. China has no morals where counterfeit goods are concerned.
